How is a fractional CMO different from a marketing consultant?

A consultant typically delivers strategy and recommendations. A fractional CMO owns the function — runs the team, makes hiring calls, owns the pipeline number, sits in the leadership room. The accountability is fundamentally different.

What size of company is this for?

I work best with companies between ₹20cr and ₹500cr revenue, or Series A to Series C startups. Below that, advisory is the right model. Above that, you need a full-time CMO.

Do you work with B2B and D2C?

Both. My background spans industrial B2B, large D2C platforms, consumer marketplaces and Fortune 500 FMCG. The operating model I run is the same; the channels differ.

How many fractional clients do you take at once?

Two, maximum three with one in advisory. Fractional CMO requires real attention — you can't run pipeline meetings for ten companies a week.

Do you work with companies outside India?

Yes — I've consulted across the US, Europe, the UAE and Latin America. India is my home base; I travel for key engagements and run global ones via async + monthly on-site.

Can you bring your own team?
