The starting point
Israeli software companies operate at a velocity and product-discipline calibration that few markets match. Working inside one — both in Pune and on-site in Israel — was a structural masterclass in how engineering organisations actually scale.

What I did
CRM testing
Senior QA on the company's CRM offering — functional, integration and regression testing across releases.
Application-platform testing
Testing for the proprietary application-development platform, including platform-level regression and integration testing for customer-facing deployments.
Cross-site working
Worked between the its Pune and Israel offices, calibrating to Israeli engineering culture while maintaining Indian-team productivity.
Lessons
What this chapter taught
Israeli software companies move at a different velocity. Internalising it as a junior engineer changes how you think about product velocity for the rest of your career.
Cross-site engineering teams require deliberate operating cadence — a thing most people learn the hard way, once.
Platform-level QA discipline translates into platform-level marketing discipline. Both demand the same comfort with abstraction.
