Representative anonymised scenario

The scenario

≈72 sqm island

an overseas CNC builder exhibiting a multi-tonne machining centre at a major Indian machine-tool show

This is a representative, anonymised scenario built from common exhibition challenges - not a named client engagement. Outcomes described are illustrative.

How we would approach it

From brief to a stand that works

The problem

The machine had to ship from overseas, clear customs, be craned into the hall, run a live cutting demo safely, and sit at the centre of a stand that also carried the wider range - all coordinated remotely with no client team on site until move-in.

The concept

Make the running machine the entire stand. Everything else - range wall, meeting zone, brand - orbits a machine cutting metal in full view of the aisle.

Layout

Island layout with the machine centred for 360° sightlines, a guarded demo perimeter, a range wall on one edge, an acoustically considered meeting zone diagonally opposite, and reception with scanning at the most-trafficked corner.

Visual language

Industrial-precise: brushed metal, deep brand colour and crisp white, with the machine as the only 'busy' element so the eye goes straight to it.

Lighting

Cool, focused task lighting on the machine and cutting zone; warmer light in the meeting area to invite the longer conversation.

Visitor flow

Aisle catches the running machine → steps in to watch → reception scans the card → engineer leads them to the meeting zone for cycle-time and ROI talk → captured lead tagged hot.

Lead hand-off

Card scanned at reception via CardToDeal, tagged by product interest and owner, flowed into a VynDeal pipeline; hot leads worked within 48 hours of the show.

Illustrative outcome

In this illustrative model, a stand that converts watchers into structured, prioritised leads - rather than a busy stand that empties into an unworked card stack.

Capture & pipeline

A booth is only worth what you do with the leads.

The most expensive mistake at any show is a stack of visiting cards that never gets worked. We design the capture into the stand.

Visiting card to worked pipeline, without the spreadsheet graveyard

Design the booth. Capture the visitor. Move the deal.

01 - Design

Quiamo builds the booth as a temporary sales environment - positioning, flow and storytelling working together.

02 - Capture

CardToDeal turns every visiting card into a structured lead record at the stand - no manual typing.

03 - Convert

VynDeal moves each lead into a pipeline with follow-up rhythm, quotes and opportunity tracking.
